Shining the light on a hidden secret

We all know how much effort it takes to get utilities (like water and gas) connected when you move into a new home. Now picture an apartment building where people are moving in-and-out every week.

Our client, My Energy had a clever solution to this admin nightmare!

Using cutting-edge software and good old-fashioned customer service – My Energy provides body corporates, strata managers and commercial asset managers with a fully-managed utility billing solution. 

In short, My Energy handles everything – dealing with apartment owners and tenants every step of the way.

Which was great - except for one thing!

Only a handful of body corporates, strata managers and asset managers knew about them or their convenient service.

MARKETING ACTION PLAN

My Energy had grown organically through word of mouth. But we put a marketing plan in place to help them scale faster. We segmented My Energy’s key audience and outlined their pain points. We analysed competitors and looked for opportunities to exploit their weaknesses. We analysed traffic data and explored advertising opportunities. And we put together a timeline of marketing initiatives to help drive consistent leads.

BRAND ID

My Energy’s existing brand ID had been loosely thrown together and needed a refresh. We designed a bold new logo that had ‘energy’ to it and rolled out all the collateral they required.

WEBSITE

Like the brand ID, the existing website needed a refresh – or in this case, a full redesign and build. The new site looks a lot more professional and clearly outlines My Energy’s services and benefits – along with a bunch of case studies that help build trust.

SALES COLLATERAL

My Energy didn’t have a single piece of sales material to their name. We wanted the My Energy team to ‘leave behind’ information to prospects, so we created a new sales folder and a brochure to go with it. 

INBOUND CONTENT

We believed there was an opportunity to build awareness by creating value-add content for My Energy’s target market. We formulated a content plan and wrote inbound articles that we share on the new website and via LinkedIn.

TRADE EXPO

Industry-relevant trade expos are a great way to build awareness and generate leads. This made the property-focused Facilities Integrate Expo ideal. We organised the entire set-up from negotiating attendance fees to booth design and sales support on the event days.
